Triodos Airport ICAO:LG55) was used for 20 years in the charge of Hellenic civil aviation. However due to the need of using a longerrunway, in 19 July1970 planes were transpoted to the Kalamata International Airport. Today Triodos Airport is used by modelists and not from civil or military airplanes.The airport was discussed to be a racing track (probably F1 track) but this didn't happen.
