The Haunted House is a Khmer 2005 horror film which based on a rumor that had told through out Kampong Chhnang provice toward a lonely big house, made from the black wood at nation road #5 in Cambodia.

Plot

In 1993, at Kampong Chhnang Provice, A couple built a new wooden house upon the nation road #5 to live and also to sell. One night, they dreamed about an old man bought their house with $3000 of gold. They woke up and found thoes gold truly. But they didn't leave the house until one morning, they found themselves slept at the field beside the house. To Their shock and horror, they quickly left and went to live with their relative. But the terrifying never finished, Some bad thing begin to happened one by one toward someone who didn't believe this story like the visitor who lived at this house without suggestion and ended up as the car accident. The Villager's fear spreaded and they offered a ghostbuster to faced with thoes ghost.After the ghosts spoke to the ghostbuster, they agreed stop to hunting people if thoes people didn't visit their place without suggestion. Finally, The village became quiet happy again and the house was abandoned as kept as the rumor or mythology till nowsdays.
