"Kolo Fortuny" is the Polish version of
Wheel of Fortune . The show first ran in 1992, and the current show has aired since2007 onTVP2 . The show is one of few versions to use agreen podium instead of the traditionalblue , using a red-yellow-green sequence.Differences
There is only one toss-up puzzle and three rounds before the bonus round. All cash and prizes are distributed in PLN,

The toss-up is worth 100 PLN. Whoever buzzes in and solves the puzzle first wins the 100 Zlotys and begins Round 1. If the first player is wrong, the next player in line gets a shot at the puzzle.
Vowels
Vowels are worth 250 Zlotys, like in America, and must be purchased prior to spinning the wheel.
Prizes
In Rounds 1 and 3, a purple wedge that says "AGD", and in all 3 Rounds, a green wedge that ways "WYCIECZKA" can be found on the wheel. Round 2 features prizes that change from show to show. A player who lands on a wedge, calls a correct letter, and immediately solves the puzzle (a la the
Jackpot Round in the United States) wins the prize; otherwise, they must spin the wheel again or buy a vowel. "AGD" represents home appliances, and "WYCIECZKA" represents a bonus trip to places such asCambodia orIreland .The Bankrupt/10,000/Bankrupt Wedge
In Round 2, a wedge that says "Bankrut/10,000/Bankrut" is placed on the wheel. Unlike the US version of
Wheel of Fortune , and like the Filipino version and other European versions, landing on the 10,000 Zloty section earns spendable cash as normal. Since it is worth 10,000 Zlotys, a Bankrupt is placed on each side, making it harder to hit.The Bonus Round
The Polish bonus round is played just like the American version. The contestant spins a miniature bonus wheel filled with cars, trips, and cash prizes ranging up to 50,000 Zlotys. The player receives R, S, T, L, N, and E, selects three more consonants and a vowel, then gets 10 seconds to solve the puzzle.
