Eshkol Nevo (Born 1971, 2000, Hebrew: אשכול נבו) is an Israeli writer has published a collection of short stories, a non-fiction book and two novels and his novel, Homesick, was awarded the Book Publishers Association`s Gold Prize (2005) and the FFI-Raymond Wallier Prize at the Salon du Livre (Paris, 2008).

Life and career

Eshkol Nevo grew up in various places in Israel and Detroit. He is related to Levi Eshkol, the late third Prime Minister of Israel.

He studied copywriting at the Tirza Granot School and psychology at Tel Aviv University.

He teaches creative writing and thinking at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Tel Aviv University, Sapir College and the Open University.
