Enfield Town F.C. is a football club from Enfield Town in the London Borough of Enfield, England. The club's home matches are played at Goldsdown Road, home of Brimsdown Rovers F.C.

The club was founded on June 23, 2001 by the Enfield Supporters Trust, after Trust members considered that the regime in charge of Enfield F.C. no longer had the interests of the club at heart and lacked sufficient will to bring about the return of the club to its home town.

The club badge has the Enfield beast on the shield with a football.

Town were admitted to the Essex Senior League for the 2001-02 season and enjoyed a successful first campaign, winning the Essex Senior League Cup, the Cherry Red Books Trophy and the Middlesex Senior Charity Cup and finishing second in the Essex Senior League. The following season, Town won the League Championship, but were not promoted as the facilities at Brimsdown were not sufficient to meet the requirements of the Isthmian League. Over the next eighteen months supporters of the club carried out extensive work to improve the ground to a standard that would allow Enfield Town and Brimsdown Rovers to progress to higher levels of football.

As holders of the Middlesex Senior Charity Cup, Town played in the 2002-03 season in the George Ruffell Memorial Shield.

In 2004-05 Town won the Essex Senior League again and were promoted to the Southern League Division One East. The 2005-06 season thus saw Town playing league matches against Enfield F.C.

Enfield Town finished the 2005-06 season in 3rd place on an impressive 81 points, which resulted in a play-off position. They were defeated 3-1 by Wivenhoe Town F.C. after extra time in the semi-final of the play-offs.

Because of the reorganisation of Step 4 of the National League System, Enfield Town were reallocated to the parallel Isthmian League First Division North in 2006-7, and were again playing league matches against Enfield F.C. Once again, they finished in 3rd place, this time with 79 points, and were defeated 4-2 by A.F.C. Sudbury in the semi-final of the play-offs.

In June 2007 Enfield Town chairman Paul Millington released a club statement via the website following the liquidation of the original side Enfield F.C. suggesting that the two clubs' pooled resources and fan base could "take Enfield back to the top of non-league football". However, the Enfield F.C. players, officials and supporters rejected the offer and formed a new club of their own, Enfield (1893) F.C.
