The Lower Price Hill Community School, Inc., founded in 1971, provides adult education services to the Lower Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Lower Price Hill Community School is housed in a former elementary school in the Lower Price Hill neighborhood of Cincinnati.
Programs
The focus of the The Lower Price Hill Community School is to offer literacy and skills training to the community. They are currently partnered with Cincinnati State.
The school provides preschool and childcare services to students who attend classes.
History
The school was founded by the Lower Price Hill community as a response to large and growing numbers of students not finishing high school.
Over the years, the school has provided free tuition to many students, and helped hundreds to earn their GED diplomas. It allows students an opportunity to go on to higher education.
The school has worked with Xavier University and Cincinnati State.
