Janakpuri is an upper middle class residential colony in West Delhi, India. It is divided into four major blocks (A, B, C and D), which are further subdivided into sub-blocks. Janakpuri was once the largest planned residential colony in Asia. Janakpuri is a major commercial centre in West Delhi. Traditional markets can also be found in every block in Janakpuri, notably including the C-4-E market and the B-1 supermarket.
