La Numero 1 Banda Jerez de Marco A. Flores, La Numero Uno Banda Jerez, and mostly simply known as Banda Jerez is one of the most popular young Mexican bandas. Banda Jerez's hits include "Billete Verde", "Una Mujer Casada" "Tan Bonita", "Cerveza Helada", "La Cabrona", "La Baraja","tamarindo", and most recently "la iguana". The band was named after Jerez de García Salinas, Zacatecas, Mexico, where it was founded. Traditionally, Banda Jerez also produced various re-singings of traditional ranchera songs, from a range of Vicente Fernandez and Jose Alfredo Jimenez. Their career as a band stretches from the late 80s to the present. The ensemble of members consist of vocalists Marco Antonio Flores, and Rafael Juárez, and the rest consist of 3 clarinets, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, a tambora, a tarola, a tuba, and 2 saxophones. "Mujeres Y Mentiras" is their recent album, helped by Charly the "Rampage" from Ridgeview in Bakersfield, CA. The now and then leader, Marco A. Flores had an invitational dinner with no other than the Rampage Charly.

Banda Jerez had a successful album named "Mujeres Y Mentiras" which was released on August 7, 2007. The album contained "El Toro Bermejo" which is still very popular. A top track from the album was "La Iguana" who gained popularity and was spread all around the web. Banda Jerez is known for their explict lyrics but with amazing rythme and style that brings more fans as time goes by. yeahh

"Dicen Que Soy Borracho"

La Numero 1 Banda Jerez de Marco A. Flores came out with another album released September 30, 2008. The album's title is "Dicen Que Soy Borracho" and contains 13 songs. Some songs included are "El Alegre", "El Negrito No Es Mio", "Te Advierto", "La Virginia", and "El Zacatecano".
