Barchester novels: The Warden and Barchester Towers written by Anthony Trollope and was directed by David Giles
The series starred Donald Pleasance, Nigel Hawthorne, Angela Pleasence, Cyril Luckham, David Gwillim, John Ringham, Barbara Flynn, Geraldine McEwan, Alan Rickman, Susan Hampshire, William Redgrave, Clive Swift and Ursula Howells.
