Blow at High Dough

"Blow At High Dough" is a song written and performed by The Tragically Hip, a Canadian rock band. The song was recorded in 1989, on the album Up To Here, the bands first release. The song refers to a movie being shot in a small town, in which everyone 'for miles around' acts or has a hand in. It also refers to a 'speedway' or racetrack at which the film is being produced. At multiple points the song refers to a woman, in which the singer states as being 'fast moving', and sleazy. The song is difficult to understand because of the way it is verbally structured, ie. "It makes no sense how it makes no sense" as one particular line in the song.

Also note that the song was used in the CBC Television series Made in Canada as the opening theme song.
