Giovanni Benedetti (born March 12 1917) is an Italian Prelate of Roman Catholic Church. At age|1917|3|12, he is one of oldest Roman Catholic bishops and Italian bishops.

Giovanni Benedetti was born in Spello, Italy, ordained a priest on May 26 1940 of the Archdiocese of Venice. Loris was Auxiliary bishop to the Diocese of Perugia on December 12 1974 and ordained January 23 1975 of the Titular see of Limata . On March 25 1976 Loras was appointed bishop to the Diocese of Foligno of which he would retire from October 10 1992.
