Swedish Crime Writers' Academy

The Swedish Crime Writers' Academy or , is an organization set up in 1971 to promote crime fiction writing.

Each year the Academy awards two prizes:
* "The Martin Beck Award" (named after the fictional detective created by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö)
* "The Best Swedish Crime Novel"

There are also a number of other awards (eg: Best debut novel) which are made on an irregular basis.
