Curtis ("Curt") Charles Stone (born November 19, 1922 in Brooklyn, Pennsylvania) is a retired long-distance runner from the United States. He represented his native country in three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1948.

Affiliated with Pennsylvania State University, Stone won a total number of thirteen AAU championships, including four consecutive titles in the 6-miles/10,000 metres from 1951 to 1954,[1] and in the 5000 metres in 1947-1948 and 1952.[2] At the 1951 Pan American Games, he won gold medals in the 10,000 metres and the 3,000m steeplechase. During the Steeplechase, Stone was easily ahead but slowed on the final straightaway to allow teammate Browning Ross to catch up. The two crossed the finish line hand in hand forcing a tie for first place. Argentine officials debated whether to disqualify the pair but ultimately let the results stand, ranking Stone as first after a close examination of the finish foto.[3][4] Stone also placed fourth in the 1,500 metres.
