Barley Yards Brewing Company, part of the Three Brothers Wineries & Estates, is a microbrewery operated by brothers Dave, Mark and Mike Mansfield and located on Seneca Lake in Geneva, New York. The brewery opened on May 24, 2008 [cite web |url=http://www.mpnnow.com/news/x1763543278/Three-wineries-and-now-a-brewery |title=Three wineries — and now a brewery |accessdate=2008-09-23 |author=Michele E. Cutri-Bynoe |date=June 7, 2008 |work= |publisher=MPNnow ] and is the first brewery in the United States to brew a Riesling ale, [cite web |url=http://www.cbs6albany.com/news/winery_1255998___article.html/beer_finger.html |title=Finger Lakes winery now brewing make grape ale |accessdate=2008-09-17 |author=Associated Press |date=July 3, 2008 |work= |publisher=Freedom Communications ] made by blending the wort of an American-style wheat beer with ten percent juice from Riesling grapes. The Riesling ale

Custom Brewcrafters, an offsite brewpub in Honeoye Falls, makes the Riesling ale for the Barley Yards brewery, blending wheat beer with New York Riesling juice. The two are then fermented together and sold by the growler at both breweries for about twelve dollars. The Riesling ale is currently their best seller, [cite web |url=http://www.mpnnow.com/news/x1763543278/Three-wineries-and-now-a-brewery |title=Three wineries — and now a brewery |accessdate=2008-09-23 |author=Michele E. Cutri-Bynoe |date=June 7, 2008 |work= |publisher=MPNnow ] but they also brew a dark American-style lager, an India Pale Ale, a raspberry wheat beer and an amber ale, as well as a non-alcoholic root beer. The Riesling juice takes the edge off the normally bitter beer, which is 4.5 percent alcohol by volume. Dave Mansfield, owner of the Barley Yards brewery, credits his wife with the concept. The tasting room

The Barley Yards brewery is located inside a barn and its tasting room is designed to look like a World War II aircraft hangar. A steel curved ceiling and several model aircraft decorate the walls and displays. Patrons can order a flight of beer, which is served on miniature airplane wings that hold six tasting glasses each. One of the tasting counter's three sides can be opened to the outdoors during nice weather. [cite web |url=http://www.winetrailtraveler.com/newyork/barleyyards.php |title=Barley Yards Brewing Company
