John Felix Tamargo is a former Major League Baseball catcher. He played all or part of five seasons in the majors from by|1976 until by|1980.

Following his major league career, Tamargo has had a lengthy career as a minor league manager, starting in by|1982 with the independent Miami Marlins, and most recently with the Brevard County Manatees in the Milwaukee Brewers organization in by|2007. His teams won league championships in by|1994 (Binghamton Mets, Eastern League) and by|1998 (New Orleans Zephyrs, Pacific Coast League). From by|1999 until by|2004, he was a coach for the Houston Astros.
