Stellarscope

Stellarscope

=Biography=

Stellarscope is a band comprised of Tom Lugo (guitar/vocals/samples), Robert Deflaviis (bass/keys), Paolo Coletti (guitars/lap steel/trumpet) and Robert Forman (drums). Over the course of a decade and several releases, Stellarscope has developed a sound architecture that is constantly evolving. They have the rare ability to combine quality space-pop and sonically charged experimentation. Influenced by music ranging from classic rock, progressive rock, punk rock, psychedelic rock to shoegaze, modern rock, and alternative; they have an innate ability to create textured soundscapes that border on the psychedelic with emphasis in songwriting and expansion. They have consistently played the East Coast of the USA & Canada for many years as well as coordinating festivals like the Popnoise Festival and the Walls of SoundFest. They have released several full-lengths, EPs, and they have also participated in various worldwide compilations and tribute albums including Jesusland (a tribute to The Jesus and Mary Chain), Blue Skied, and Clear (a tribute to Slowdive), and many more.

Their music has also been featured on MTV, Sci Fi Channel, A&E, and Discovery Channel.
