Fire-fighting sport

Fire-fighting sport (Russian : "пожарно-прикладной спорт") - a sport discipline developed in the Soviet Union in 1937. It includes a competition between various fire fighting teams in fire fighting-related exercizes, such as : climbing by special stairs in a high floor of a mock-up house, unfolding a water hose, extinguishing a fire using by hoses or extinguishers.International competitions took place since 1968.
