Reg kesler (Oct 16, 1919-May 16, 2001) began his interest in his rodeo career at the age of 14 years old, until retiring in 1967 at the age of 48.

During his early years in his rodeo career, Kesler first competition was at the Raymond Stampede competing in the boys Steer Riding. Later on Kesler would also become known for being one of very few cowboys to compete in all five events such as Wild Cow Milking, Wild Horse Race, Outrider for Chuck wagon Races, and he also was known for Pick-Up man.

Reg Keslers name became known in the record books in 1948, by becoming the Canadian Champion All-Around at the Calgary Stampede. In total Kesler won a total of $1,960 along with the first trophy saddle awarded by the C.P.A.. and again winging the title two more times in 1951 and 1953.

In 1950s do to the growing demand for bucking horses, Kesler set up a string of rough stock and became a Contractor and Rodeo Producer, since then he had supplied stock to rodeos a cross Canada from Vancouver to Winnipeg, even the 1967 Expo in Montreal.
