In 1850, Lane Crawford was established in Hong Kong by T.A. Lane and Ninian Crawford. T.A. Lane was one of the purchasers in 1846 of the only Chinese junk, Keying, to visit the USA and England. The original Lane Crawford flagship store was located on
Des Voeux Road Central in Central, Hong Kong. It was demolished during the 1970s, making way for The Landmark, and the flagship store was moved to 70Queen's Road Central , Central. The flagship store was moved once again in 2004 to the IFC Mall in theInternational Finance Centre .During the 1990s, the Lane Crawford store at Times Square,
Causeway Bay was named Lane Crawford eXpress and was aimed at the young and trendy shoppers. Lane Crawford eXpress was subsequently closed and became the location for the current Causeway Bay store.tore Locations
