The 1999 Alabama Crimson Tide football team represented the University of Alabama in the 1999 college football season. The team was led by head coach Mike DuBose, who was in his third season with the program. The Crimson Tide, also know informally as the Tide, played their home games at Bryant-Denny Stadium, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Legion Field, in Birmingham, Alabama.

The team entered the season trying to build upon a 7–5 record from their 1998 season. The 1999 team had tremendous success. After a stunning last second loss to Louisiana Tech early in the year, [cite web| url=http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?id=1648768| title=Louisiana Tech has history of comebacks| publisher=ESPN| date=2003-10-23| accessdate=2008-09-24] they eventually finished with a 9–2 regular season record (7–1 in the SEC). This included defeating Auburn on the road for the first time ever.
