The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation

The International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation is named after Raoul Wallenberg a Swedish diplomat credited with saving thousands of Jews in World War 2.

The foundation's website states that its purpose is "is to develop educational programs and public awareness campaigns based on the values of solidarity and civic courage, ethical cornerstones of the Saviors of the Holocaust" [ [http://www.raoulwallenberg.net/?en Foundation website] ] .

Activities

The foundation campaigns for the creation of memorials to Raoul Wallenberg [ http://www.magic-city-news.com/State_18/Governor_Baldacci_Proclaims_Wallenberg_Day_64646464.shtml ] .
