Charles Cornelius Smith (known simply as Charles Smith; born August 22, 1975 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American professional basketball player currently playing with Efes Pilsen in the Turkish TBL.

He has also played for the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, the Miami Heat, the Los Angeles Clippers, and the San Antonio Spurs, and starred in European national leagues with Makedonikos Kozani, Virtus Bologna and Efes Pilsen SK. With Italian team Scavolini Pesaro, in 2005 he won the first-ever "Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy" as the best scorer in the 2004/05 Euroleague. He was also the MVP of the ULEB Cup final in 2006-07 playing with Spain's Real Madrid Baloncesto. Back to Turkey for the 2008-2009 season, signed by Efes Pilsen.

Collegiately, he was a star at the University of New Mexico, and he played high school ball at famed Dunbar High School in Fort Worth.
