Huron-Perth Lakers

= General Information =

The Huron-Perth Lakers are a Zone AAA Minor Hockey Organization located in Huron and Perth counties in the province of Ontario, Canada. The organization was first formed in 1995, after years of preparation. The Lakers are currently represented by 8 teams, including Minor Atom, Atom, Minor PeeWee, PeeWee, Minor Bantam, Bantam, Minor Midget, and Midget. They are members of the Minor Hockey Alliance of Ontario ( [http://www.alliancehockey.com ALLIANCE] ).

Participation

Players are evaluated for each season during a tryout process which typically commences in April of that year. Any player who has registered with their local center and has received a permission to skate form from that center is permitted to participate in the tryout process. Any player from a local center within the boundaries of the Huron-Perth Zone must first tryout with the Lakers in order to participate at the AAA level. Players who are released from adjacent AAA programs may also tryout for the Lakers in certain cases.
