This is a list of characters of the Empire of the Rising Sun in the of video games.

Overview

The Empire of the Rising Sun is a new faction in the universe created for Red Alert 3. In the ending days of the war depicted in Red Alert 2, Soviet Premier Cherdenko authorizes use of a Temporal Displacement Device being build in secret by the Soviets. A strike team goes back in time and eliminates Einstein, who was responsible for most of the Allies superior technology. Upon returning from the past, the Soviets learn that the Allies were weakened, but that a new threat has arisen; the Empire of the Rising Sun, a technologically superior power hellbent on world domination

Units

"Shinobi": Based on the Japanese ninja, the Shinobi can infiltrate buildings like the Allied Spy. Not relying on a disguise, the Shinobi can strike down enemies both from a distance with his throwing stars as well as close up with his katana.

"Mecha/Sky Tengu" : In its default state, the Tengu is a good anti-infantry unit which hovers over the battlefield. It can transform into the Sky Tengu, the Empire's air-superiority fighter

"SeaWing/SkyWing": The SeaWing is the Empire's anti-air naval unit. It can transform into the SkyWing, an anti-surface bomber

"King Oni": The Empire's massive Tier 3 land unit. Similar in concept to the Nod Avatar, the King Oni is a devastating threat on land.

Characters

Emperor Yoshiro

Emperor Yoshiro is the Emperor the Empire of the Rising Sun. The longtime ruler of the Empire of the Rising Sun, cherished as a living god by his people and the military. Emperor Yoshiro is a traditionalist who strictly follows the code of bushido, the samurai way of the warrior. He fundamentally believes that the Rising Sun's destiny is to rule the entire world. He also believes he is Emperor by divine right and that his fate is preordained. He rarely shows emotion and often speaks in a seemingly wise tone.

While the Soviets and Allies were fighting each other, Yoshiro was building up a massive high-tech miltary force bent on world domination. He will demand that both the Allies and Soviets submit to Imperial dominance. (Emperor Yoshiro is played by George Takai).

Crown Price Tatsu

Prince Tatsu is Yoshiro's son and heir. He is a major figure in the Imperial armed forces and directs many of the missions against the Empire's enemies. There will be some internal strife between the Crown Prince and the Emperor. (Prince Tatsu is played by Ron Yuan).

Intellegence Officer Suki Toyama

Suki Toyama is the Intellegence Offcier for The Imperial military. Essentially performs the same function as Lt. Eva does for the Allies. (Suki Toyama is played by Kelly Hu).

Commando Yuriko Omega

Yuriko Omega is the Empire's Hero unit. She attacks her enemies with the power of her mind. Her devestating psionic attacks can destroy infantry, vehicles, aircraft and buildings. Produced as a result of bizarre expirements, Yuriko is a deadly threat to any unit on the battlefield. (Yuriko is voiced by Lisa Tamashiro)
