Kaberi Bose

KABERI BOSE: Kaberi Bose was a leading actress in Bengali films in 50’s ans 60’s decades, and was famous for her beauty and acting power. She passed away young, in an accident while returning from Derjilling. Her notable films include Je Jekhane Dariye (1974), Ami Se O Sakha (1974), Aranyer Din Ratri (1969), Shyamali (1956), Madhumalati (1957), Rajkamal (1955), Debimalini (1955), Paradhin (1956), Shankar Narayan Bank (1956), etc.

She acted opposite Uttam Kumar in Shyamali, and was directed by Satyajit Ray in Aranyer Din Ratri.
