Juran is a fictional Plant from the tokusatsu TV series, "Ultra Q".First Appearance: Episode 4, The Mammoth Flower (January 23rd 1966)

Ultra Q

Height: 100 meters / Weight: 3,000 tons

Also known as the Mammoth Flower, Juran is supposedly a natural but extremely large plant that appears in Tokyo after some shifts in the Earth's crust. It can emit poisonous pollen and use smaller vine-like roots to wrap around people and suck their blood. Juran is eventually destroyed when a fictional 'carbonic acid gas fixation device' (developed in a university in Wisconsin) is dropped onto the titanic flower by Jun in his Cessna airplane.

appearance in episode 2 as one of many monsters inhabiting the fictional world of Boris. And is quickly disposed of by the bird monster Litra.
