Luwero triangle

Luwero triangle

The Luwero triangle is an area of Uganda to the north of the capital Kampala, corresponding to some degree with the district of Luwero. It is commonly used to refer to an area renowned for the persecution of civilians during the "bush war" (aka Luwero war) between the rebel National Resistance Army and the government of Milton Obote.
