Ridgewood School is a Secondary School, located on Barnsley Road, Scawsby, Doncaster, United Kingdom. The school is a specialist school, specialising in Engineering and Related Technologies. The headmaster of this school (2008) is currently Mr C. Hoyle. This school offers a range of subjects at both KS3 and KS4, getting high GCSE results and good ofsted reports. The school offers teaching in a way that encourages pupils that learning is good.The school has been around for a long time, some of the current pupils having parents who went to the school. The teaching staff at this school have a head of their teaching department. An example of this is Mr D. Newman who is the head of English. This member of staff in each department is responsible for creating a timetable for the other staff to follow by throughout the years.The school teaches pupils from across Doncaster, aged 11-16.
