XLVII Panzer Corps (Germany)

The XLVII Panzer Corps (47th Panzer Korps) was a Panzer Corps formed by Field Marshal Günther von Kluge during the Battle of Normandy for Operation Lüttich. Initially comprising two Panzer Divisions of the Waffen-SS and two other Armoured Divisions, the unit would see action throughout the Normandy Campaign.
