Cork's RedFM is an Irish radio station which broadcasts to Cork and the surrounding area, and is aimed at a youth audience.

Cork's RedFM commenced broadcasting at 08:00 on 16 January 2002.[1] The station was awarded Ireland’s first youth radio licence. Its target market is 15-35 year olds in Cork city and county.

In its first three years on air, it had picked up 6 Phonographic Performance Ireland (PPI) National Radio awards. In March 2003, Cork's RedFM was awarded a Guinness Radio Advertising award for its creative work.[citation needed] In 2007 Cork's RedFM launched a road-safety campaign, titled Brake The Cycle, hoping to cut road-deaths in Cork City and County, for which it subsequently received a PPI award under the Community/Social Action category.

Cork's RedFM endeavour to interact on as many levels with their listeners including: Facebook (www.facebook.com/corksredfm), Twitter (www.twitter.com/CorksRedFM) and the station's App can be downloaded on iTunes.
