Boris Ivanovich Cheranovsky

Boris Ivanovich Cheranovsky (Russian: Борис Иванович Черановский, alternatively romanized as Chyeranovskii^[1]; 1896–1960) was a Soviet aircraft designer,^[2] notable for creating world's first fly-worthy flying wing aircraft - the gliders BICh-1 and BICh-2 from 1924, and powered BICh-3 later.^[3] They used tailless parabolic planform.
