History

Founded in 2002 following the regionalization of the Evanston Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chicago's North Shore was the enclave for the families of the founders of the City of Chicago who built their historic homes along the shores of Lake Michigan. Now a thriving metropolitan region, it still maintains the scenic beauty and charm that lakefront communities provide.

Funding

The CNSCVB receives its funding from the State of Illinois, the municipalities of Evanston, Glenview, Northbrook and Skokie, along dues from its members.

Location

The offices of the CNSCVB are located in downtown Skokie, Illinois.
