Chronic Xorn (Bengali: ক্রনীক জর্ন), is a metalcore band, based in Kolkata, India. Chronic Xorn was formed in the year 2007 and has traveled a long way. The name of the band characterizes the negative side of human emotions which is seldom portrayed by many. The band got the impetus by capturing the Runners up and the Zonal Finalists (Eastern) spot at the Campus Rock Idols back in 2007 which was within three months of formation.[1] Chronic Xorn was the first band from Kolkata to record a heavy metal album.
