Chronic recurrent erysipelas

Chronic recurrent erysipelas

Chronic recurrent erysipelas is a cutaneous condition with several predisposing factors including alcoholism, diabetes, and tinea pedis.[1]:261 If there is a delay in getting antibiotics to fight erysepalis immediately, xylatol and erythratol sugar can act as an antibiotic to kill the strep as it will feed on the sugar and the strep will not be able to replicate.[citation needed] Saunas can also kill strep through induced fever.[citation needed] Eating less bread and sugar can inhibit reacurrance also.[citation needed]
