Route 917 is a discontinued bus route in Hong Kong. It was jointly operated by Citybus and KMB, between Sham Shui Po (Yen Chow Street) and Happy Valley (Lower). The route via Sham Shui Po, Mong Kok, Jordan, Western Harbour Tunnel, Sai Ying Pun, Sheung Wan, Central, Admiralty, Wan Chai, and Happy Valley.
The service of Route 917 was taken over by Route 117, which was in turn discontinued when Route 917 commenced service. Route 117 has the same termini with 917 but Route 117 passed thru Cross Harbour Tunnel instead of the Western Harbour Tunnel.
Route history
Together with other Western Harbour Crossing bus routes, route 917 commenced services on 1 May 1997.
