Claire Boucher, also known as Grimes, is a musician[1] who sings and plays keyboards[2], and an artist.[3]

Biography

Boucher was raised in Vancouver, British Columbia.[4][5] She moved to Quebec and started the "group" Grimes,[4] although this group consists entirely of Claire Boucher, and is part of the music scene surrounding Arbutus Records[5] .[2] In May 2011 she opened for Lykke Li on her North American Tour.[4][5] As of June 2011 she is based out of Montreal.[4]
