Coggeshall Town F.C. is an English football club based in Coggeshall, Essex. The club are currently members of Division One of the Essex & Suffolk Border League and play at The Crops.

History

The club was established in 1878 and moved to their current ground in 1961.[1] They joined the Essex Senior League in 1972.[2] After finishing bottom of the table for three consecutive seasons between 1983–84 and 1985–86, the club left the league.[3] They rejoined the league in 1987, but left again at the end of the 1988–89 season for financial reasons.[1]

The club had two spells in the Essex Intermediate League during the 1990s,[3] before joining the Essex & Suffolk Border League.
