The Agglomeration community of Montpellier Agglomération (French: Communauté d'agglomération Montpellier Agglomération), is the intercommunal structure gathering the commune of Montpellier in France and some of its suburbs. It was created out of the former District de Montpellier in 2001. The district was created in 1965.[1]

Composition

The Agglomeration community of Montpellier Agglomération covers 31 communes.[2] The communes with « ° » are the 15 members of the former District de Montpellier.

Palavas-les-Flots left the Agglomeration community of Montpellier Agglomération on January 1, 2005. The commune was one of the initial member communes of the "district de Montpellier".
