The Communist Party of the Soviet Union General-Secretarial election of 1964 was a contest for the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, or First Secretary, which was won by Leonid Brezhnev.

Brezhnev took office on October 14, 1964, and his title changed from First Secretary to General Secretary on April 8, 1966.
