Courage Campaign

Courage Campaign

The Courage Campaign is a California-based human rights campaign and progressive advocacy organization[1] with more than 700,000 followers, working on a variety of causes,[2] including the repeal of Proposition 8, California budget reforms,[3][dead link],[4][5] and ballot procedures.[6][7] The chair and founder of the campaign is Rick Jacobs.[8]

The campaign relies heavily on online and grassroots contact methods, and in early February released a four-minute online advertising film featuring same-sex couples, each making the same request: "Don't divorce us." It was viewed more than 500,000 times in a week.[2] The video is accompanied by the song Fidelity by Regina Spektor.[9]
