Mission and Philosophy

According to the school's website:

"The Covenant School seeks to promote the moral, intellectual, and physical development of young people. We foster the virtues of faith, wisdom, and love through the pursuit of academic excellence and the recognition of God’s sovereignty over His creation. We nurture our students, challenging them to follow the example of Jesus Christ, to achieve through self-discipline, to lead by service to others, and to grow in knowledge and virtue.

The Covenant School provides formal instruction in the traditional academic disciplines of English and language arts, history and geography, mathematics, science, foreign languages and fine arts and offers a broad and varied program of physical education and sports. We believe that faculty and staff must seek to live and model Biblical truths, good character and love for others as they work with the family.

The Covenant School provides a college preparatory education and seeks to inspire students to love God and to love learning. We believe that the mere acquisition of knowledge does not convey wisdom, and therefore see studying the Bible as essential for learning how to live. We encourage students to seek truth, to develop character, and to serve others."
