Craig Dalrymple (1976) is a former English soccer player and is currently the Interim Head Coach of Vancouver Whitecaps Residency.

Career

Craig Dalrymple was born in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, England. Darylmple bagan his career was a Midfielder with Ipswich Towns academy. Craig went on to spend 6 years with the Tractor Boys without making a first team appearance.^[1]

Following his time at Ipswich Craig went on to play for a number of clubs and institutions including a stint with the Vancouver Whitecaps in their previous incarnation as the Vancouver 86ers.^[2]

Coaching career

Before rejoining the Whitecaps Darlymple held a number of technical, coaching and scouting positions within the game.

Darlymples most recent role being a one year stint as a youth coach with Portsmouth F.C working with the academy players.

Prior to his time at Portsmouth Dalrymple spent 10 years as technical director of Surrey United Soccer Club in Surrey, British Columbia.

Craig is a fully licenced coach holding several coaching 'badges' include 'A'-level license certification from the UEFA, the USSF and the CSA.^[3]

In 2007 Craig was also employed in the role of scout for the Canadian U-20 soccer team.

His coaching credentials include 'A'-level license certification from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA).
