Craig Smith (born September 5, 1989) is an American ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Nashville Predators in the NHL. He was selected by the Nashville Predators in the 4th round (98th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.

Smith played major junior hockey in the United States Hockey League with the Waterloo Black Hawks. He was named to the USHL First All-Star Team for the 2008–09 season.[1]

Smith participated at the 2011 IIHF World Championship as a member of the United States men's national ice hockey team.

Smith scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game on October 7, 2011 against Steve Mason of the Columbus Blue Jackets.

On November 17, 2011 against Toronto, Craig Smith missed a wide open net. This was by far one of hockey's greatest bloopers, but not as bad as Patrick Stefan's.
