Craig Stephen Sutherland (born 17 December 1988) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Plymouth Argyle, on loan from Blackpool, as a centre-forward.

Career

Blackpool

London-born Sutherland joined Blackpool on 26 July 2011 from the North Carolina State University.[2] He made his debut for the club on 5 August 2011 as a substitute in Blackpool's single-goal Championship victory at Hull City in the opening game of the 2010–11 Football League campaign.[3] He made his first start six days later, in the first round of the Carling Cup against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.[4] Sutherland joined Plymouth Argyle on loan in November 2011 for two months, having signed team-mate Paul Bignot on loan two weeks earlier.[5][6]

Personal life

After attending George Watson's College in his hometown of Edinburgh, Sutherland moved to the United States to play association football at Midwestern State University. He spent two years at Midwestern. He then moved to North Carolina State University, where he spent another two years.[7]
