H.I.H. Jean-Bédel Georges Bokassa, Crown Prince of the Central African Empire (born 2 November 1975) is the son of the self-styled "Emperor Bokassa I" of the Central African Empire and his wife Catherine Denguiadé, who became "Empress" on Bokassa's accession to the throne. Following his father's decision to become "Emperor", he was named as heir apparent with the title of Crown Prince, and was included in the lavish coronation of 4 December 1977, which Pope Paul VI refused to attend.
