Roman polytheistic reconstructionism

Roman polytheistic reconstructionism, also known as Cultus Deorum Romanorum (Latin for Worship of the Roman Gods), Religio Romana (Latin for Roman Religion) or Romano-Italic Tradition, is the contemporary movement which reconstructs or revives the traditional Roman and Italic religious cults.

Practices

Roman polytheistic reconstructionism is a revived religion and way of life, revolving around the worship of the Roman gods (in order to keep alive or reestablish the Pax Deorum Hominumque, the balance between men and gods and the order of the cosmos) and the veneration of ancestors, and embracing the traditional Roman values and virtues of the Mos Maiorum.

Numinism

Numinism is a relatively new Neo-Roman form of Roman reconstructionism which has been around since the mid 1990s. Numinists view Vertumnus and Pomona as their head god and goddess and is much more eclectic than Nova Roma and focuses on the older Roman religion. Most of it's adherents are solitary practitioners.
