The Cypriot Cup 1989-90 started on December 30, 1989 with 32 teams. The Cypriot cup was completed in 5 rounds. All rounds were two-legged except the final. Cup Winner was Nea Salamis Famagusta FC, for the first time in their history.

At the first round 32 teams were participated. The first legs took place on December 30 and 31, 1989 and the second legs on January 20 and 21, 1990.
