Danu Self-Administered Zone (Burmese: ဓနု ကိုယ်ပိုင်အုပ်ချုပ်ခွင့်ရ ဒေသ, IPA: [dənṵ kòbàiɴ ʔouʔtɕʰouʔ kʰwɪ̰ɴja̰ dèθa̰]), as stipulated by the 2008 Constitution, is a self-administered zone consisting of 2 townships in Shan State: Ywangan and Pindaya Townships.[1] Its official name was announced by decree on 20 August 2010.[2] The zone is to be self-administered by the Danu people.
