Darjeeling Pulbazar (community development block) is an administrative division in Darjeeling Sadar subdivision of Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Lodhma, Darjeeling and Pulbazar police stations serve this block. Headquarters of this block is at Bijanbari. Pattabong Tea Garden is a census town in this block.[1][2]

Darjeeling Pulbazar community development block has an area of 212.71  km2.[2]

Demographics

As per 2001 census, Darjeeling Pulbazar block had a total population of 115,821, out of which 58,451 were males and 57,370 were females. Darjeeling Pulbazar block registered a negative population growth of -1.17 per cent during the 1991-2001 decade. Decadal growth for the district was 16.94 per cent.[2]Decadal growth in West Bengal was 17.84 per cent.[3]
