David Currey (born May 13, 1943) is a college athletics administrator and former American football player and coach in the United States. He is currently the athletic director at Chapman University, a position he has held since 1990. From 1977 to 1983, he coached at Long Beach State, where he compiled a 40–36 record. In 1980 and 1983, his teams won eight games. From 1984 to 1988, he served as the head football coach at the University of Cincinnati, where he compiled a 19–36 record. His overall record as a coach was 59–72.
